Before attempting to join the Spies Online e-mail discussion group (currently hosted at Yahoogroups), it is important to understand a few things. The e-mail discussion group is a bit more restricted than the message board. Applicants may not be anonymous. A real full name and an e-mail address from an ISP must be provided. It's ok to have e-mail sent to a "free" e-mail account, as long as the user's e-mail account with his ISP is provided for moderator use. Applicants who fail to provide this information will be automatically rejected. Applicants are welcome to resubmit an application with the requested information if they are rejected.
Due to the sensitive information discussed on the group, applicants may be requested to furnish proof of identity at the moderator's sole discretion.

Please note: If your yahoo profile says that your name is "Cindy Lou" and you provide us with any e-mail address of something like FredJohnson@isp.net, your application will likely be rejected!

If you don't have the technical ability to UNSUBSCRIBE to a mailing list, should it become necessary, please DO NOT subscribe to the Spies Online mailing list. Our list is for people who are technically able to perform this simple task without assistance. If you can't do something as simple as this, sorry, but we don't want you on our list! Thanks for your understanding.
