Does anyone have information about building a cooling system using a Marine battery and a coleman cooler? My car gets to about 120 degrees and I need to come up with a solution fast to work through the summer in LA. (I heard there is a way to hook up a marine battery to the magneto of your car so it rechgarges. )

Thanks,
Andy Schwarz

I just ordered an industrial car fan from a company off the net for about 35 bucks. It hooks into my cig lighter and I can run it ALL DAY without running down the battery. I attached it to a 6"x6" peice of wood and lay a bottle of frozen water in front and one behind the fan on the wood. just as good as a swamp cooler....BUT...............make sure you crack the windows open a bit or it will steam up the windows
